League starts this Thursday! Here is some info, hope to see you there.
This is the inaugural season of the Thursday Night Discin at Bald Mountain League.
This will be a split pooled doubles league. We will evaluate the field each league night and separate the players into an A pool and a B pool based on skill level. Teams will be randomly selected pairing an A pool player with a B pool player. Cali’s will be drawn from the A pool only. A cali will get 2-3 extra cali shots to use throughout the round depending on layout due to course difficulty.
Entry fee is $5 for all players. There will also be a $2 Ace Pool and a $3 50/50 CTP (Due to Covid we will be doing the 50/50 throw off post round until further notice)
We would like to do a membership which would likely include a T-shirt, and maybe a disc as well. But we will gauge interest first.
We plan on having a playoff. More details will emerge on that front as we get a better understanding of how many players we will have in attendance. Money collected from the 50/50 CTP will go towards paying the winners of the playoff.
Point System:
5 points for a win.
4 points for 2nd & 3rd place
3 points for 4th, 5th & 6th place.
2 points for 7th thru 10th
1 point for everyone else’s
5 points for an ace.
Please remember to keep practicing social distancing and setting a good example for other players and leagues. Registration will end at 5:45. You can pay online or in cash but PLEASE BRING EXACT CHANGE!!!
