Northeast Ohio Indoor Putting League   June 10, 2020 at 9:58pm

We are back tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is the day the NEO Indoor Putting League returns to finish out the 2020 season!! Granted it will be an Outdoor Putting League for the final three weeks, but we'll take what we can get to wrap this season up!!!

Weather looks prime, with temps in the high 70s and low humidity...perfect or our first night back.

League will be held at my house located in Mentor, OH, just under a mile east of 615 and Mentor Avenue. This is only about 4-5 miles down the same street the Garage Bar was on. The address will be listed at the bottom of this post. I live in between I-90 and Rt. 2, so either can be taken to get to my house using the 615 exit.

League will begin a little earlier to ensure we get done before 9 PM, with the start time at 6:30 pm and baskets up by 6. I will have two baskets in play and each basket will have the 5 stations designated to it, similar to the set up we used last year. That should help keep it moving and keep two groups putting at the same time. Distances will remain the same, as will the format and points. So the only difference will be the location.

Seeing as this will be at my house, it will be "Bring Your Own Beer." I will have a cooler or two with ice to keep beverages warm. If people want, we can even order food from the many places nearby. Side games like dice will be encouraged, and I will have a spot set up in my garage for stuff like this. So bring them extra dollars!!!

There is ample parking at the church across the street from my house. So please park there rather than the street or in my driveway. Since this is at my house, I ask people to be respectful, as I do have neighbors one one side and behind me. Starting earlier should allow for us to not be a nuisance to them as well.

My address is: 7403 Southwood Drive Mentor, OH 44060

My house is the first house on the left off of Mentor Avenue, with their being an empty lot behind the florist on the corner, followed by my house. It should be rather easy to find.

I hope to see all the regulars tomorrow to end the season on a high note. We will still have a side game for the $1 per person entry, and carry on with the A / B Pool format. Points will continue on with what was there since we got stopped short in March. We will also finish our last Monthly Poker Game, so there's also that to attend to. So if you have paid ahead, cards will be pulled. If you have not, please be sure to bring money for that as well.

Also, we need to come up with options for the League Party. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. The Garage Bar has opened back up the Game Room, and they do sound interesting in having us back there for the party. That may be the route we go. But I'm always up for other options.
