They just announced, I think within the last couple of days that the park won't reopen until July. im sure that has been part of the hold up. No one knew if and when they were going to reopen.

That's definitely the hold up. I spoke with the supervisor at the hocking hills state parks and she said no special event permits will be issued until at least July 15th.
