hi David. i've never played this course so i can't speak to its difficulty, but generally speaking a one-day, two-round, pdga c-tier makes for an excellent first tourney and intro to competitive play.

Hey David, I think it’ll be a good first tournament. Depending on how long you’ve been playing and how you play I think Intermediate or Recreational would be a good starting divisions to see where you stand. And Josh, the course is about half wooded, half open. Some tee signs aren’t correct but will the course will have a lot of maintenance done in the next few weeks. We’ll make sure it’s in perfect shape for the tournament. Looking forward to having y’all come out!
