Hey Jesse, we sent out an email to all registered players on March 16. Here it is again so you know your options: Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, I regret to inform you that the Texas State Disc Golf Championships on March 26-29, 2020 has been suspended/postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am working with the PDGA to find out when, and if we can utilize another date this year. I am waiting for their response and I should know more by the end of this week. Please understand that we are working as fast as possible to figure things out so we can keep you updated. The COVID-19 pandemic has hit hard and fast across the globe. Please be safe and take the proper precautions to stay in good health for your sake and the sake of others. I encourage you all to educate yourselves and others in order to work together and get through this as quickly as possible. I know this is frustrating, confusing, and even unfair, but we will have to see this thing through before we can go back to the way things were. I will share more information with you as I find out more regarding the rescheduling of this event. To keep things short and sweet, I would like to share some options with you as a current registered player. Below is a list of what I can do to accommodate you. If you feel you need to speak with me one on one, please feel free to call me or email me. Please try not to send me messages via text, facebook messenger, or any other outlet as these may get lost or disregarded. I will do my best to keep up! Players have the option to receive a full refund. For those who have already submitted that request, I will honor it by sending refunds starting Monday, March 16. Players will receive a full refund minus the fees incurred by discgolfscene.com. If you wish to receive a full refund, please email [email redacted], or submit a refund request through the registration page: NT: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/The_Texas_State_Disc_Golf_Championship_Presented_by_Latitude_64_2020 A Tier: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Texas_State_Disc_Golf_Championships_Presented_by_Latitude_64_2020 Players have the option to use their entry as store credit with Dynamic Discs Carrollton. This can be in the form of merchandise or tournament entry fees. Please email [email redacted] if you wish to explore this outlet. Players have the option to table their entry fee until we know exactly what will happen with this event. We should know much more in two weeks or less. Please email [email redacted] if you wish to explore this outlet. Players DO NOT have the option to receive a player package shipped to them in lieu of the entry fee. Because we plan to have this event later on in the year (same venue, same name) we will still be able to put the player packs to good use. Player packs are only intended for those who attend the event and my plan is to honor this standard. It is my plan to keep the NT on the schedule (later this year) if we can make it work. If not, this event will drop to a full fledged A Tier for ALL divisions. Texas State Disc Golf Championships will go on in 2020 unless we are forced to make other decisions due to the current pandemic or other extenuating circumstances. Thank you for your patience and consideration. Please feel free to reach out to me for anything at all. I will do my best to accommodate each and everyone of you to the best of my abilities. Please stay safe and I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you once the dust has settled.
