COVID-19 Update

Centre Region disc golfers;

Club officers (Edgar, Tricia, Chris, Derek, and Ben) held a meeting today and determined some COVID-19 guidelines moving forward. League play will continue for the time being as long as Centre Region Parks & Recreation continues to have open park facilities, however it will not be as structured as in the past. These are the changes:

- Doubles play at league rounds will be put on hiatus in a desire to limit player contact. Singles play only for now.
- A player meeting will NOT be held before rounds. Simply start a card of 3-4 players and begin play when you arrive.
- Ace pot money will NOT be collected in cash to limit player contact, but you can make donations ($2 or more) to the Harvest Fund or buy in to the $1 ace pot by submitting via the CCDGA league PayPal at [email redacted]. Ace pot MUST be paid in before the league round takes place in order for that player to be eligible.
- Scores cards should be tracked on UDisc and can be submitted in the club facebook group, or directly to Ben Wideman for league tracking on DiscGolfScene.com

Just as in the past few weeks, please continue to;

- Refrain from social norms like high fives, fist bumps, and picking up other players discs/belongings.
- Maintain a 5-6 foot distance from other players when waiting for the next shot.
- Refrain from attending any league or casual rounds if you are experiencing any symptoms or sickness.

Our 2020 CCDGA Players Meeting will now take place online as a Zoom conference call.

Be safe out there!
