On Monday, March 23rd, at 7:30pm there will be an online Zoom meeting to discuss the ongoing redesign and improvements that need to be made at the Harvest Fields Disc Golf Course, as well as other club matters.
All disc golf players in the area are welcome and encouraged to join us! We want as many people to join us as possible.
The construction of tee pads and remaining new fairways at Harvest will need to take place this spring and early summer, concurrent with the the mountain biking trail construction (which breaks ground in April). There's a lot to get done! At the meeting, we will (1) detail the plan for the construction process, (2) discuss what needs we have in terms of labor, tools, fundraising, etc., and (3) solicit ideas, critical feedback, and questions from all who attend. Since this course is for the growing disc golf community in our area, we consider this a community project and hope everyone will embrace all the labor and love the course will need to become a gem of central PA.
Meanwhile, as the weather warms up, please keep an eye out for postings for work days at the course. Your time and effort will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
