Good afternoon everyone,
With all the uncertainty over COVID19 and the never-ending list of cancelled events I figured an update about the state of the TIO is in order.
Currently, we still plan on running the event as scheduled on Sunday April 26.
My hope is that the residence of Toronto band together and get this virus under control over the next 2-3 weeks. Most cancellations and mandatory closures have been set for 14 days, but personally I feel that 3-4 weeks will be a more likely duration. With the tournament still almost 6 weeks away, I am optimistic that events and social gatherings will be permitted again and we can all get together on the the Island for what will be some much needed golf and socializing.
Please stay healthy, and do your part to keep everyone healthy around you.
