Thanks for the offer Mike but this situation warrants a public response. I very well may be in the minority of those that would find your plan of action useful and necessary. However, I would like to ensure that myself along with all other people present are able to make well informed decisions about their health, the health of those around them and the health of their families. There has been ample time since the WHO announced COVID-19 as a pandemic (https://www.who.int/dg/speeches/detail/who-director-general-s-opening-remarks-at-the-media-briefing-on-covid-19---11-march-2020), and the White House declared it a national emergency (https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/13/coronavirus-emergency-declaration-trump-128530) for you and your staff to formulate and distribute a plan for TDTM8. I actually find it concerning that no detailed updates have been issued addressing public safety considering there is a portion of the field in the high risk group (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/specific-groups/high-risk-complications.html). A time of Monday at 2pm was given to withdraw. There has been no significant details as to any steps taken in regards to public health given, however considerable detail to how the purse may be affected was emailed to all participants. TDTM8 is one of the most popular events in the sport with a large, and decorated field. Addressing financials in the face of a global pandemic is irresponsible. Everyone deserves as much information as possible. Thank you
