Hello!
As you know, It's been a very hectic 48 hours as large events around the globe have been cancelled or postponed, including some large scale Disc Golf events.
After some careful consideration and hours of conversations with the PDGA, DGPT, the Florida State Coordinator and Discraft, our primary event partner, we have decided to move forward with TDTM8 but with some caveats; we are reserving the right to lower our added cash and event tier status based on player attendance. We have had to already cancel some auxiliary events which will affect our expected spectator attendance combined with an expected slight downturn in event attendance.
- If the event falls below 85% capacity (116 players) we will remain an A Tier but reduce the added cash from $5000 to $4000
- If the event falls below 70% capacity (96 players) we will remain an A Tier but reduce the added cash from $5000 to $3000
- If the event falls below 55% capacity (75 players) we will drop to a B-Tier reduce the added cash from $5000 to $2000
We will confirm our tier and added cash amount on Monday 3/16/2020 at 2pm EST. If you are going to drop from the event, please contact me before Monday 3/16 at 2pm EST. Also, please note the PDGA policy on player cancellations/refunds:
