Monarch Madness Players:

Let's get right to it: We've decided to postpone the tournament out of concern for the health of our players and their communities.

It's impossible to know if this is truly necessary or whether it will make any difference. We've tried our damnedest to understand the current situation and future projections, and the ways in which each of us can try to slow this virus down. After much deliberation -- and considering a long list of mitigations -- we ultimately decided to err on the side of caution.

We're every bit as disappointed as you are. But it just seems short-sighted and uncaring to put one day of (****ing awesome!) disc golf above the long-term health of 90 players and everyone they interact with. We all have to do our part, to do what makes the most sense with the information available. Even if it sucks.

We will give full refunds to everyone this evening. Current registrants will have registration priority for the future event.

We're thinking about June for the new date, but we don't want to set it right away. Wait and see for now.

We hope everyone continues to be safe. We look forward to seeing you soon!
