What Robin said...but to address your question about tips... 1. Read the rule book cover to cover. Other players will help you with the basics but there are obscure rules in there that you can use to your advantage in certain situations. KNOW THE RULES! 2. Remember that the ultimate goal here is to compete AND have a good time. Keep a cool head as much as possible. Negativity affects the entire card. Encourage your card mates, compliment nice shots, and truly wish for them to play well. Good play is contagious. A quote I often use is “I would much rather beat you on your best day than your worst.”
