February Poker Side Game - Week 3
During the third week, 18 people continued on in the Poker Side game, leaving the pot at $52 after 3 weeks. The post should be at around $70 total, with $60 going to the winner! The Flop was drawn last week, with all three cards being community cards. This week will be the final card drawn and a winner will be paid!! The best 5 card hand will win. For those who missed entry in week 1 but joined in week 2, they will be only having 6 total cards. But being a best five card hand, they still have a chance at the pot.
Flop: 2 Clubs -- 3 Diamonds -- Ace Spades
In the instance that you miss a week, a "tentative" card will still be pulled for you after all present players have gotten their card. Once you pay for that missed week, you will get to see your card. This is only the case once you buy in for a week.
I am also offering the opportunity to pay for all weeks ahead of time if needed. So if you want to pay the buy-in the first week (or the remainder at any given week), you are more than welcome to. A good bit of people decided to do this for the first week, and it's the easiest way to make sure you get a card each week (just in case I forget about you and don't pull a tentative card).
And just a reminder for the final week we will bu pulling cards in reverse order of total point score for this week. So the lowest score of those who have entered will pull their card first, with the highest points total going last.
March will be our last month of league and we will do one more game. There are 5 weeks in March, so this will be a 5 Card Draw style hand, but with Wild Cards. In the first week before cards are pulled, 2 cards will be pulled from the deck and they will serve as Wild Cards for all 5 weeks. Once those cards are drawn, they will be put back in the deck and it will be reshuffled so there is a chance to get those cards in week 1.
