Hello TDs. I am really looking forward to the Tournament weekend and playing this legendary course. I need to clarify my PDGA Number. I inadvertently added a extra 4 when I registered. My correct PDGA number is 31461 and I am current. Next I was hoping you (or someone) could clarify the practice policy for Saturday and Sunday. Does"during the tee times" mean while groups are teeing off, so therefore practice will be allowed after the last tee time group is through hole #1? Or does it mean no practice at all on the course until all groups/cards for the round are in? Also, with regards to spectators, are they allowed to 'practice' within the bounds of the policy assuming they have paid the 10$ greens fee. Thanks for addressing these and again, I am really looking forward to the weekend.
I fixed your PDGA number...

I'll try to make this as clear as possible... First and foremost, practice on Saturday and Sunday comes with an assumptions; that your talking about a tournament weekend. During tournament weekends, once the first tee time goes off, there is no practice on the course itself as it's an unfair advantage to those with early tee times. We offer a putting area on site and The Quarry Disc Golf Course, with similar topograhy to the Gran Canyon course is 5-10 minutes away and is perfect for warming up. Once the last group is through Hole 9, we open up groups to practice/play starting on Hole 1. On tournament days, spectators may only play once they have paid and the last card has cleared Hole 9.
Perfect! Makes sense and is crystal clear. Thank you for the clarification. Also, thank you for updating my PDGA number.
No prob...!
