Tyler, thanks for the message. Per PDGA guidelines, AM players can play the event only if they are rated 970 or above. So anyone who is signed up under 970 has a professional classificaiton. If you are interested in changing your classification to professional then that is the way you can play in the event. If that is your desire, send an email to [email redacted] and I will forward to the PDGA so they can do that for you.
