With only the Motor City Open left on our sanctioned tournament schedule, I would like to thank the following people for helping make the 2019 Firefighters Classic a lot of fun despite the never ending Rainy May and June months. Josh Chef Schulte brought 4 baskets and set them up himself, Mat Stivers brought 2 baskets including the epic Hanging Goalpost Basket, Damon, Cookie Monster, Alec Kennedy, Ryan Herzog, Derek Michalak, and BDub all brought a basket. BDub and Rob Dahmen helped put in and remove most of them. Brent Moren helped out in a few key areas. Derek Evans and Corbyn Blackwell waled the entire course in the morning and flagged everything. Brian Hurley, Chris Leo, and Damon Evans all helped Saturday layout the course which seemed to get good reviews despite being very new. A huge shoutout to everyone who helped add scores and Shaun and Krystal for running the raffle. Everyone chipped in to help the event reach the awards faster so everyone could get home at a decent hour. Our TD Chris Leo did a fantastic job all day having scores posted live as the scorecards were finalized.
