JULY IS BONUS POINT MONTH!!!
It is also National Bison Month. To that end, we will be offering Bison/Buffalo (B&B) related bonus points.
Like we did for National Bald Eagle Day, we will be offering bonus points for B&B apparel.
You will get one point for each item with a Buffalo or Bison on it that you wear to and play in during a league night. I may bump the points for a Water Buffalo Lodge hat as in the Flintstones. Sorry, a pair of socks only counts as one point.
While putting the league together, I contacted several colleges and universities that have a Bison or a Buffalo as a mascot about donating something, anything, for a CYP or any other sort of give-away. No success. Something about NCAA rules and the like. One school did respond, the other 11 did not. And the one minor league baseball team has been silent as well. Apparently we are too far from their market to consider. Anyway, if you wear something from one of the schools on the following list, you will earn an extra point for a total of TWO points per item. Here goes:

University of Manitoba-Winnipeg
Lipscomb University
Gallaudet University
Oklahoma Baptist University

and the Buffalo Bisons.
