Hello Friends! A big thank you to the 23 players who came out in the humid cloud cover for the eighth round of the 2019 Old Farm Summer League.
It was another week of hot competition and low scores. Lee Crandall took his second win of the year with a fourteen under par 40 (43 aggregate). Nate Bivins continued his hot streak to finish second with a 41 (47 aggregate). John Triezenberg and Jeff Turner rounded out the podium with well shot 42's (48 and 50 aggregates respectively).
Next week (June 22nd) is the OFSL Mid-Season Championship. Players who are fully paid GRDGU Members and have played three previous rounds in the 2019 OFSL are eligible for cash payouts (50/30/20, playoff for the win, ties split). As always, 11:30 am shotgun start and $5 to play. The Ace Pool will be $47.
A big thank you to Bill Holton, who was erroneously left off of last week's prize hole donation list. This week all 17 hole prizes were donated by Great Lakes Disc. Please make sure to stop in and thank them for their support of the Old Farm Summer League.
