thanks to the 6 intrepid souls who braved the elements to do battle on the wet fields of MBD last night. Yep, I'm getting a little fed up with the rain myself.
For those who did not attend, don't worry. We did celebrate the B-day of Basil Rathbone with chocolate cake and Superman ice cream. Sorry, no leftovers. We did not, however, do the Sherlock Holmes/Basil Rathbone trivia contest. Who knew so many at the league last night were that lactose intolerant. We will conduct the trivia contest next week after our round at Bandemer.
Next Thursday is National Bald Eagle Day. There will be one, and maybe two, Mystery CTPs next week. BONUS. If you have any eagle apparel, whether it be a hat, shirt, shoes, socks or shorts, by all means wear it. Could be bonus league points up for grabs. What about eagle underwear you may ask. Unless you wear them on the OUTSIDE, it doesn't count. No one is going to check if they are on the inside. Just so we're clear.
