Thanks again to everyone for coming out to the 2019 Ironwood Open, making this year's tournament the largest Ironwood ever! I missed three things during awards that I wanted to make note of:
Firstly, please be sure to check for ticks. Moraine is known for having a ton of ticks and Lyme disease is no joke!
Secondly, I am always looking for feedback on the event. On the PDGA page to the right of the name of the tournament is a link for "Event Feedback" in which you can submit feedback on the tournament which goes to the PDGA and the TD and can be submitted anonymously. You could also just message me here on scene or facebook and let me know what we are doing well or what we can improve on. The event feedback button is a great way to let tournament directors get feedback on their tournaments and help put on great events in the future.
Finally, I forgot to mention that we had two divisions with single players holding down the fort. Sue Guiciardi was our lone amateur female player and Haden Fawcett was our lone junior player. Haden shot great and would have finished in a tie for 8th in Rec.!
