Hello Friends! A big thank you to the NEW league record 42 people who joined us for the fourth round of the 2019 Old Farm Summer League. For the first time this year it was both warm and calm winds.
The first week of handicaps being in play shook up the finishing order. Bill Holton shot a well played, even par 54 round and took advantage of his 10 stroke Handicap to take the victory (44). Rounding out the podium was a five way tie for second place at 46 with Lee Crandall (46), Brandon Griffin (46), Justin Bird (53), Tyler Holmes (54) and Brandon Braisted (55). There was also another Ace as Jeremy Johnson had a bucket shot on Hole 3 for $31 dollars.
A big thank you to Chris Melinn for donating yet another disc that was given away on Hole 15. He will have one more to donate at our next round and we greatly appreciate his contribution to the Old Farm Summer League. As well, a big thank you to our year long hole prize sponsor Great Lakes Disc for contributing 16 in-store credits this week. Remember to support those that support Grand Rapids Disc Golfers United.
Note: The Old Farm Summer League has a planned week off next week (May 11th). The fifth round of the Old Farm Summer League will be May 18th at 11:30 am.
