Pymatuning DGC has been in place with back nine installed in 2007 and front nine since 2010. Some things have changed over the years with vegetation changing, better equipment, player's skills Improved, etc.
With the initiative to add concrete tees the entire course has been reviewed in an attempt to maximize player experience ( within allowances of the park).
Event teaser....
Red, white, and blue hole configurations are being tweaked or changed. More tweaks than anything.
Reds - look for changes on #9 and #18... one longer, one shorter.
White- least affected by revisions. #18 will be lengthened by 55 feet. For cement event a special version of #17 will be played.
Blue- most affected to accommodate improvement of players over last 10+ years. Look for changes on #8, #10, #17, #18.....biggest change on #17 both at tee and pin ( with over water throw). One more change under evaluation.. details to follow.
