The PDGA has different levels of tournaments. NTs(national tours), A tiers, B tiers, and C tiers. The different levels have different requirements. C tier tournaments do not have to have added cash to the professional division is really the main difference. $2 from the registration fee go to the PDGA and the rest goes into payouts.
