For example. Josh, Doc, and Kevin are on a team. The first hole of the round someone has to sit out the drive. Only two people throw any one shot. You chose Josh and Kevin to drive. You chose Josh's drive. Kevin and Doc shoot the next shot. Kevin makes the putt. Josh and Doc shoot the next shot which is the drive on the next hole. If your shot is used you do not shoot the next shot all round long.
