Yes, they are touring pros. As well as, AJ Risley and many others on the wait list. All touring pros have the ability to sign up early for all NT level tournaments and above. They can register two if not three weeks earlier than other players. If they choose not to exercise that right, there is nothing that the TD can do about it. There are only so many spots that can be held, and many players who want to get in to this event. Nikko is a two time past champion of the event, and I personally feel that the event is lessened without him in attendance. However, we cannot hold a spot for all touring pros, we must at some point open registration for those ready and willing to get in to the tournament.
