6 teams battled it out for the 100% buyin-payout format
Highlights:
In the first round MarcoT hit a Sudden death putt to
advance!
SteveR and DuncanH won first place $40
ThomasM and JohnS placed second fighting through the bottom brackets $10
ChuckM and JamesT took 3rd also through the bottom brackets $10
* games were tight; 8 matches were won by only 1 or 2 points
It was suggested that we offer prizes for the Point series winners.

Rules:
12 Match Putting League
Matches are each Wednesday from January-March 2019
Dates:
Jan: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Feb: 6, 13, 20, 27
Mar: 6, 13, 20
Matches are Random Draw Doubles
Players are ranked and split into two groups, one player from each group is randomly paired
Individuals collect points over the course of the league
Putting League Points System
From the weekly random doubles matches each person will be
acquiring points over the course of the league
1 participation point
1 point for each team beaten in overall finish
5 points extra for 1st place finish
3 points extra for 2nd
1 point extra for 3rd
Example for 8 team format:
Each person on the 1st place team gets 13 points (5+7+1)
Only top 8 scores of 12 total matches are eligible
Example: if you played in 10 matches, only your top 8 scores are used
