Thank you to all the players and staff for a great 2018 at the Dragon's Breath Disc Golf complex.
In 2018 we held our first PDGA sanctioned event, the Dragon's Breath Open in March. Not sure how we the cost of playing at the course would affect registration, we set the field cap at 72. We ended up with a full field of 81 players. Patrick Blazek earned his first win in a couple years, holding off a hard charging Jake Palmer, second place, and passing first round leader Joe Rovere, third place. Missy Gannon was our inaugural champion in the FPO division.

In addition to our first PDGA event, we debuted our second course, The Beauty, on the par 3 9 hole ball golf course. This Par 30 9 hole course has less elevation than the Dragon, but tighter lines and several water carries.
Because of the early success of the Dragon and the Beauty, we were given weekends to work with for leagues. On Sunday Dec .6th we had 80 players come out on a Broncos Sunday to attempt to slay the Dragon. On Sunday Dec 23 we filled the course with over 45 players on the Beauty, to close out the year. Suffice it to say, Foothills was very happy.
We are moving registration to Discgolfscene from here on out. :-) Players will be able to register AND pay for cash games prior to check in which will save us a lot of time.
