Jayne - Fully understand the work situation and how that makes it hard to make it out and especially find time to make a dish to pass. The key is that you make it out - look around and see if you have an extra Dot Disc to get the full $10 off - my diet can always use a bit more plastic.
Fred - Thanks for looking around - you know you got something somewhere that you have not throw in eons and it's probably just the thing someone else has been looking for. One player's Trunk Trash is another player's Ace Disc.
Ok so maybe I was a little optimistic about 300 players or maybe I was just being a bit silly - Naaaaah. 44 / 300 + the off the grid gang = 50 to 100 players. If we actually got 300 we would cooperatively find a way to get everyone through two rounds, with reasonable group sizes - heck it's just one throw per player per hole - it goes really quick and if we were shooting for an Ace pool of between $3000 and $6000 I think everyone would be willing to chill and hang with friends for a few extra minutes - Hell I'll just hang with Jay Adamski's Chilli and Jason Cassidy Grandma's Apple Pie - what a problem to have 300 Ace shooting fools on Black Friday - one day soon......
As it is we will most likely have groups of 4 on a card and hell yes you can bribe me to make your card, SHHHH just don't let anyone know...
Actually that detail has not been released yet. We have to wait and see what the final total is but that will be part of the exciting news delivered during the players meeting or during registration.
OH several players have conveyed that they can't make it for the whole day, both rounds, due to work, family, surgery or mental illness and we full understand especially the last part. The important thing is that you add to the ace pool/// no/// I mean you come out and spend some quality time with your disc golf family. If you can only make it out for one round then let us know, pay half and at least you get 24 Ace shots, some DOT discs but none of Grandma's apple pie. We'll make sure your winnings get to you or are put to good use ;-)
