Anyone know what the best score in the random draw doubles was Friday evening?
Having never played in Colorado, I thought the three courses were amazing as was the weather (except the wind on the Beast Saturday afternoon.) But I'll take that over thunderstorms or hail for sure.
The tournament was run pretty well, only criticism: I think they could have used two or three check-in stations on Friday.
I'm also thankful that whomever hit me on the driving range didn't have more arm speed. My face finally stopped bleeding by the end of the Beast round. Although a "fore" would have been appreciated in advance, they did apologize after the fact. They said they would "hook me up" with some "merch," I think they were a vendor or sponsor of the tournament or something, but I never saw them again....I think they thought I knew who they were, but living two states and 800 miles away I didn't know anyone. If they did tell me who they were after apologizing, I apologize for not remembering as I was a little dazed and naturally upset at the time, thinking my tournament may have been over after one round and not knowing the extent of the damage.
Finally, a kind thank you to whomever returned a disc I accidentally left on the range after being hit, it was sitting by my car later (and there was no ID on the disc.)
