Don't forget about the big Champoeg Dubs Finale next Saturday, August 25th. All the points have been totaled up and the Top 16 from the league season will be competing for $$CASH$$ and prizes. If one of the Top 16 players is not present to play then the next one in line is invited to play. There will also be a raffle with a basket to give away. Not to mention there is a "Losers Bracket" for all players who show up and are not playing in the Top 16. There will be cash and prizes for those players as well. Tell anyone that has played even 1 week of the regular season that the Finale is going to be awesome. We will also be giving away the Founders Cup to Crist Garcia for finishing 1st in the points, and there is a Consolation Trophy to the player that finishes 1st place on the day of the Finale. The schedule for the Finale will look somewhat as follows:
9-9:45am -- Check in and get your raffle tickets. 1 ticket for each week played + 5 extra for perfect attendance.
10am -- Tee time for all. 19 holes of single play.
12:30 (ish) Lunch break and raffle
1:15 (ish) Top 4 players play in the Final 9 holes, with a gallery of spectators
3:00pm Awards and payouts
Come out and show your love for this excellent course and dubs league. It will be a ton of fun and the people that will be there are nothing short of great. Help send off the season and show your support. The custom made awards are something to behold and there are quite a few raffle prizes that anyone could walk away with. See you next week.
