The points race for session 1 champions is coming to a close this week.
Top 3 in points will receive a trophy for the efforts and great play.
There will be 3, that's right I said 3, 3 PT CTPS per division on the course Friday night.
Also everybody will get to drop their lowest point total for the season so the race is going to get really interesting!!
If there ends up being any ties they will be decided by:
1: total points overall
if still tied:
2: overall scoring average
if still tied:
3: highest single week point total
If still tied we will have a playoff at some point between now and awards ceremony
trophies will be ordered after the conclusion of session 1 and sometime before or during the first week or two of session 2 Champions will receive their awards!!
Ace pool is currently at $78 and if no one hits it we will have a throw off for half of the total with the other half being donated to the Fall Disc Golf Classic.
Session 1 has only been 7 weeks and we have raised $260 for the FDGC!! Hopefully by the time its all over Friday night that number is well over $300!!!
Biggest turn out for league so far has been 19 players, I'd love to see that number get smashed this Friday for the last week of session 1!!!
