Hey Austin. To be up front, the challenge I do every year is pretty laid back. It can still be competitive but it's more fun for most. For the points round, you get points for getting birdies or better or metal hits prior to par. More points the better. It's meant to get players a quick round that's pressure packed. You only get, at most, a few throws a hole to get points. Stroke round is like you would normally play dg. If it takes you 5 throws to get in the basket, you get a 5. Yes, at the challenge everyone plays with the 3 discs provided. I offer a disc golf draft where you can get an extra disc for a fee as well. Hope this helps.
