It’s a tradition unlike any other,
It’s the obligatory week 1 poem,
I write this in a plane at 35,000 feet,
Flying my way back toward home.
Week 1 surely showed us,
Age does not discriminate,
Against good scoring, deuces, and throws,
Which we all try to replicate.
The hot round Tuesday night,
Didn’t belong to an old-time loser,
Instead, it was thrown by paint man,
The one and only, Craig Pluger.
The best adjusted score you wonder,
Was thrown by someone new to the league,
His name is one Jeremy Zachery,
His round did not feature fatigue.
And perhaps the highlight of the night,
Featured just 1 single throw,
An Ace on hole 10 by Jeremy Post,
He was sure to put on a show.
Santa Claus has been put on notice,
Naughty players adding scores wrong,
Dittman, Holton, Panitz were naughty!
Maybe they should sing us a song?
May your shots meet the chains,
And your hyzers and anhyzers fly true,
I wish you good days and weeks ahead,
We will see you in week number 2!
