I was in the same boat last year. We started showing up every other week or so, and it was a great introduction to the sport. Nobody cares how often you are there, and most everybody I've met in the leagues have been super helpful in helping me improve my game. I recommend it, especially for newbies. Drop $5 whenever you can make it out and get some practice in. Might even get a lucky shot that wins a prize :)

This is a great way to think of it...if you get 10 rounds in, and become a GRDGU Club Member, you will be eligible for our Club Championship in September. It's a Hi-lo Doubles format, putting the lowest scoring player with the highest scoring player. We estimate $8,000 in cash prizes for that event!
