guys, with three days until the event I wanted to give a few updates to better prepare everyone. First off, we have a 100+ people signed up to play which is AMAZING! This is gonna be a phenomenal community event with a major emphasis on socializing and celebrating a friend gone too soon. Given that Bandy is 9 holes, we're expecting 12+ ppl on each card and it's gotta get rowdy! That said, we would try to remind everyone that pace of play will be key and hopefully the mob mentality wont deter people from playing holes in a timely manner as much as they can. Given how many people have signed up to participate, we are asking if friends can join forces and carpool out to the park given the parking limitations. Below is a map of Bandemer's parking availability. There is a main lot closest to the course, a small lot before you cross the bridge to the course, and an additional lot behind the course that leads to Hole #4. We will fill up the main lot as much as possible but overflow parking is there if needed. Unfortunately the city is not willing to open the bathrooms during this time of year therefore...make sure you poo before you show up and/or bring a poop towel ;) Ladies we might try to create a designated tarp area to help with visibility. Lastly, we're having a pot luck after the round and ask everyone to bring something to share if possible. It's gonna be a long day of discing and we as a community can make it more cozy and welcoming by sharing what we can. Please comment below with the items/dishes you are bringing.
