Sean thank you for your interest in this tournament. We have tried to make this as accessible to as many players as possible, and in doing so decided to have fewer divisions. The intermediate division would be close to the recreational division in most other tournaments as those that would normally play rec. will play intermediate. We are using Infinite Discs as our registration partner as our payout will be in Infinite Bucks (gift cards you can use to purchase product on their website) and the best way to ensure that everyone has the ability to receive their payout is to make everyone register through their website.
