If you purchase the mulligan, you use it to replace a stroke. It is another throw/putt, replayed from the spot of the previous throw/putt without penalty, due to an errant shot made on the previous throw/putt. The result is that the hole is played and scored as if the first errant shot had never been made.

You must purchase them before you use them. If you have them left over from the 1st round, they carry over to the 2nd round. We will break for lunch then you may purchase additional mulligans, if needed, for the 3rd round
