Dear Fling XXI Players, The first game of the National League Championships will be held at Chavez Ravine on Oct 14th! The Fling XXI will ALSO be at Elysian Park on Oct 14th - this coming Saturday! (3 cheers for Park Mgr Christina Osier and Albert Torres - the Park Ranger!) We are a permitted event, so although the park will be closed that day for vehicular traffic, we will be able to bring our cars into the park in the morning. Here are the details that PLAYERS NEED to get into the park for the Fling XXI. - We plan to have that Solano gate manned from 7am to 8 am to allow our players entry (only use that gate - all other gates will be locked) - No "in and out” access during the day - LAPD will have that Solano gate manned when we leave to allow us out Map is attached - the GPS point is Fling XXI HQ and the blue dot box indicates the Solano Gate. Here is the schedule: 7:15 am Check in 8:15 am Players meeting 8:30 am 1st Round tee off 12:00 lunch and games 1:30 pm 2nd Round tee off 5:00 Awards!
