Royce, we are trying to move in the direction the PDGA is pushing, in regards to players packs, and payouts. We will have a great players pack. It will be over 100% of the players entry fee given back to the player in merchandise, before you even tee off. Trophies will be given to the top 3 players in each division. This speeds up the tournament, and the awards ceremony, so players can get back home at a decent hour on Sunday. Plus saves a headache for tournament directors and tournament staff, dealing with players flooding the merchandise tables. I hope you attend this event, it will be the best and biggest one to date. The course is in great shape. Cheers!

I didnot know the pdga was pushing for a change in payout to amatuers. It has been very unpopular decision to everyone i have talked to about this format of trophy only to all amatuer divisions. The missing a day of work to start event on a friday also weighs in on the cost of attending. I love the course and the people involved and hope it turns out great but probably will not attend unless work falls through on that friday of round one. In my experience in the few years i have been competeing I have found raffles to be the most time consuming feature of tournaments that i have played and would not miss seeing them done after awards if at all. Thanks for explaining the change in format for me. Good luck and hope to make it out there. This was the first tournament i ever played after being introduced to the sport in 2015
