Exactly. The people who end up qualifying for the national event, should do well regardless of the layout. There could be logistical issues etc which have caused the format to be what it is. One round of 4 not being what folks would prefer shouldn't be a deal breaker IMO. To each their own though I guess.

I initially shared the same sentiment as Adam, and still don't agree with shorts, but I can kind of see it. Every shot matters from shorts, if you're scrambling your losing strokes, and you HAVE to hit your putts. But if deuce or die is the best indicator of talent, why are we watching pros play long courses with par 4s and 5s? In my opinion, Fallasburg long is a complete, fair course, that really isn't that long anyway. Ifyou have to rely on shorts to score well, you don't have a complete game. That being said, we get to play some disc golf this week fellas, and if you bring your A game, shorts or longs shouldn't matter. If you want to play Fallasburg longs, make it to round 4! Refunds: All competitor refund requests received 2 weeks prior to the Tournament will be refunded, in full. All requests for refunds are to be sent by e-mail to the Tournament Director who will review and provide refund instructions. Withdrawals: All competitor withdrawals within 2 weeks of the Tournament and up to 2 hours prior to the published start of the event check-in will receive either a cash refund or players package after the event is completed. If a waitlisted or walk-up competitor takes the spot, the withdrawing competitor will receive a full refund within 21 days after the event. If the spot is not filled, the competitor will receive their players package valued greater than the entry fee.
