I could not answer this players questions on the difference of 2k and $250 for each player. SVSU has either limitations or restrictions on clubs. Not sure what the solutions or options are? PLAYER Has asked for a response.

The point of putting up personal funds toward the development of an endowed scholarship fund at the winning school is to provide a way to recognize and to meaningfully sustain a the program into the future. Should SVSU win, I will work with their office of advancement and marketing to set up an endowed scholarship fund. In the event the University really does turn that down, I will personally reimburse tuition and fees for each of the four players on the winning team up to the $500 for the 2017-18 school year ($250 for fall semester expenses and $250 for spring semester expenses).

Well the big issue is, even if it was worked in that we could receive a fund which has far as I've heard it a no for club sports via the club sports manager and director. We all graduate within a year. The hopes are for our team is we use the 2000$ for building the disc golf program not for tuition or endowment as some players financial aid Won't even let them use it for their last year as well. 2000$ could provide baskets, club funding to better get our club out there and represented, Course rental fees for fundraisers, and potentially start in getting our own course so more people at the school play it and will keep the tradition alive. The biggest point being we are the fathers of this teams program, we want to leave SV in a place where a team can get started and more people will get involved in the future. I think the intent of this money is to provide education for disc golf players. THE JOHNSON PROJECT is supporting tuition for Disv golfer who are in college. THE CUP was born to continue with tuition assistance. Perhaps there are resources to help club growth and sustainable. For the CUP the donor requested the money to be given for tuition in hopes to start an endowed fund. I hear you on the need to build a club with funding. College disc golf has announced steps to help club assistance. Think we should explore all resources and stay on track with the mission to support tuition.
