Week #1 Results

80 players made their debut for 2017 league despite the cold weather. It was the worst scoring average for the yellow pins thus far in 2017, just about 2 strokes harder than preseason week 3. One reminder, we abide by PDGA rules so please ensure you finish your hole by putting the disc into the basket...there are no gimmies.

I thought week #1 would be a good time for the annual league poem, so here goes:

And we are off to the races,
Week 1 adds points to the fold,
Only 5 players were under par,
Through the wind and persistent cold.

Congrats to the Adjusted Score winner,
Earned by one Mr. Mike Rota,
He had a rather stellar round,
Meeting his deuce and par quota.

Only 1 hot round on the cold night,
Alex Hayes achieved this feat,
He finished with 50 throws,
A perfect present and birthday treat!

Santa Claus has been put on notice,
Naughty players adding scores wrong,
DeVoe, Hammer, and Smith were naughty!
Maybe they should sing us a song?
