Thanks to everyone that came out on monday. We had 60 players and once again hit our league cap, i apologize to the 15+ people who did not make it in. Glad to welcome 4 new players to the league. Played 18 Shorts. Myself/Scobie and Christian/Ballios tied for the W at -14. Josh Minard aced Hole #11 for $478, boom!!!! 9 players paid the member fee. $560 in the payout pot. Ace pool is at $161. See everyone next week. We will be playing 18 Shorts.
Will any adjustment be made to cap, or time that you begin taking registration?
I mean, if you're there at 3:30, can I reg, go home and come back?
Can members know ahead of time when registration will begin? Will any provision be made for members to register prior to non-members?
Is there any possibility for members to register first, say from 4:00 to 4:30 and all others from 4:30 on?

The "membership" fee is really to get 75% of ace pool and have a chance to win money for the end of the year payout. It's not a actual membership. I
The only reason this seems to be a problem compared to other leagues is this leave actually fills. You can't pick and choose who gets to ref and I what order. Its always been first come first serve just like any other league. This is all a bunch of unnecessary stress for phil and let's hope people know what to expect when it comes to registration from now on.

Not saying you in particular. But there have been plenty of others complaining. And again the ace pool was over $600 so it will fill fast. Sorry you didn't get in but that'll happen sometimes.
If you don't get there by 4:15, it will happen every time it seems. Thus my questions.
Honestly in the past it's usually like that for the first month or 2 then it's not as bad. Or you have Years like last year and there's aces hit every week and the ace pool doesn't go above $400 all year so it's not as crazy haha
I really don't think ace pool has anything to do with it. I went back and Cass league has not sold out 2 weeks in a row ever. It has exponentially grown every season. Hats off to Phil for doing such a good job. But at this rate I'll be surprised to see the first week that it doesn't sell out.

Thats just the nature of the beast i guess, but is totally fair in my eyes. We have to have a cap of 60 players once we begin playing longs and alternates due to the course congestion and timeline. I wish it could be altered but that is a # that i am firm on. To answer your question KT if u are in person and reg you can do whatever you want after. Going home is just like if u wanted to make a quick beer run or forgot your putters so thats fine with me. Only thing i would say is that if something happens and you are late coming back and miss the 5pm window then i would bump you and refund your money. Wouldnt be fair to hold up the league. Thanks to everyone for the support, i really try to make this a fun and competitive league and i am blown away by how many people i know are interested in playing the league. It really validates all the hard work i put into it. Just doesnt always make things easy. But like in years past our numbers usually settle into the 40-50 range come summer. See everyone monday!
