Well The NFM course fell into disrepair and a new community center at the park that was built that encroached on the old course. So the Open was moved to Port Charlotte there was some issues with Club and PC voted and opted to leave the SWFLDGC. Now that happened last year @ Feb since the we are in the process of re designing NFM and restructuring the overall organiztion (SWFLDGO) which includes NFM, Estero, Bonita and Naples, This is the only year the Open will be held at Estero since NFM is undergoing a redesign, unless the tournament grows too large and we need to expand to use 2 courses.
