I don't want to get into policing what is and what is not a costume, but if you want to come as a famous disc golfer there should be some effort put into it. For example, wearing a Innova shirt and saying your Paul McBeth won't fly. Now if you got a wig, ear ring, Innova Hat, Innova Shirt, etc etc, that would show some effort to have a "costume".
