The Turkey Bowl at Massillon, for example: the winning B group score only beat one A player - a nearly perfect division of abilities. From what I can tell, it appears that this tournament has a pretty fair registration of abilities to divisions. Both of these examples are remarkable because it is the same cost for each division.
I would recommend an attempt to be fair when assessing your abilities for choosing a division. If you're virtually guaranteed to finish in the top third, consider moving up. If you're virtually guaranteed to finish bottom third, I would say you should feel free to drop down a division.
There's not expected to be much snow this weekend. Bring towels for the mud, and of course make use of the disc-bathing creek available at about half of the holes on the course!
