I am told the caps are due to the combined event with the Women's series guaranteeing spots for women up to a certain date.. Having said that,; the women need to sign up soon or risk having their spots opened up to the general population with the possibility of certain caps being adjusted. This is part of the growing pains of our sport. Day of sign-ups for larger tourneys are a thing of the past. Also, history shows AMs outnumber PROs in registration probably 60-40. That's all I know.
