Yes, pre-registration only. there are two cutoff days. this saturday, May 7th for the Amatuer players to receive a dri-fit shirt with the tournament stamp on it since i need to pre-order those. The next date is the day before the tournament. My recommendation for a first tournament is to play either in the Rec or Intermediate division. if you Win your division, you can always move up in the next tournament. Macky; to give you a heads up, I don't think anyone in Recreational would shoot +3 from the whites and certainly not from the blues. That is a very solid score (~920 rated I believe from whites and 970 from blues) That score would probabily put you in top 5 easy for Intermediate. That said, tournament play can be different than casual play. What you play in an hour (shooting +3) is spread out over 4 hours, which means 3 hours of down/wait time. Any sport participant can attest to the benefit of being in a "flow". Sitting for 15 minutes while you wait to drive a hole can cause a drop in score. Sounds like intermediate would be a good place to start. Like Cody said, if you win, you can always move to Advanced for your next one
