Macon Area Golfers,
We will begin our summer leagues the week after daylight savings time change (Sunday 3/12).
This year we will attempt to see if we have sufficient enthusiasm for 2 nights a week, Tuesday's and Thursday's.
First events will be Tuesday 3/15 at Rozar Park in Perry and then Thursday 3/17 (St Patty's day) at Claystone Park in Macon. 6pm start both nights, but we will be light challenged for a couple of weeks so please show up early.
Tuesdays will be singles at Rozar until light allows for us to alternate periodically to Random Draw Doubles at Claystone.
Thursdays will be a handicapped league with weekly prizes, CTPs, and an end or the year party with awards. We will utilize the same 3 round handicapping formula used in past leagues, so we will use the first couple of weeks to establish handicaps. I expect first handicapped round to be April 7.
Costs at all events will continue to be $2 for CTPs, $1 Ace fund, but this year you can contribute $2 to the Club Course improvement fund. All costs optional. You can always play with us for free, but prizes require participation.
2016 Bag Tags are also available for a $20 contribution to the course improvement fund. Tags will be collected and redistributed at all Macon Aces' Events based on raw score.
