An absolute must play Disc Golf course, you will not be disappointed! ($5 entry to the park Memorial Day to Labor Day) The Valparaiso Parks Department, along with a group of volunteers from the Duneland Disc Golf Club keep this course in amazing condition year round! 24 hole (26 total with alternate tee pads Holes 7 and 12 have 2 teepads) championship level course. 21 holes in the winter (3 Derby holes are removed for sledding) Every hole has alternate pin positions as well. This is not a beginner friendly course, this course will beat you up! Make sure your name and phone number is written legibly on your disc incase of loosing it during your round. The past 2 years the Indiana State Championships have been held here, the course is formatted to an 18 hole Dominator layout. We hope to be fortunate enough to continue holding the State Championships here for many years to come....
There is a practice basket with a round 9 before the first hole. Just southwest of the practice basket, on the hill is the DDGC clubhouse with a lost disc return. If you find a disc, please be kind and drop it in the slot next to the door (some players will offer rewards). A member of the DDGC will call the rightful owner as soon as it is returned. If you live out of the area, we can arrange to ship it to you.
